What is the eligibility for ACFB

If you are looking to apply for ACFB, then remember the following:
1. You are required to have one or more children, whose age 1. You are under 18 years old.
2. You reside in Alberta.
3. You are required to have filed your tax return on time.
4. Your family income is less than $27,024.If the income is less than $45,285, some partial benefit may be available.
5. This amount of $1469 is only for the first child.
6. To get additional benefits, your working income must be more than $2,760.
When is the payment made?

The amount of $1469 is not paid at once. It is deposited directly into the bank or sent by mail by the CRA in four installments. The dates of each instalment are as follows:
27 February 2025 – February to April instalment
27 May 2025 – May to July instalment
27 August 2025 – August to October instalment
27 November 2025 – November to January instalment
Note: This amount is valid from July 2024 to June 2025.
